I’m Sorry…You’re a What Now?
I am a self-funded volunteer.
Yup, you read that right. In short, I am paid through amazing sponsors who have decided to faithfully partner alongside me in this journey with The Zambia Project.
Now, you’re probably thinking, “What…? Why in the world would you choose that for yourself? You must be crazy…” And, quite frankly, you are definitely right. But, I also have a lot of crazy faith for what is to come!
Before I even became aware of this position, God spoke very directly to my and Caleb’s hearts about doing more with this organization, and how we could utilize the resources here in the USA to further the Kingdom in Western Zambia. (That may sound crazy to some of you reading this that don’t have much history with Jesus. I want to affirm that yes, it sounds nuts; I used to absolutely think so, too, until I gave my life to God. But, it is SO real and amazing that we can have a personal relationship with Him like this.) I believe deeply that God has called me to this position and organization for a reason, and even if my income can be irregular, inconsistent, and, quite frankly, a little awkward at times, I trust God will continue to provide just as He has done so many other times in my life!
What is the goal?
With the first anniversary of taking on my position quickly approaching, I want to first thank the people who chose in 2021 to partner with me! I am forever grateful to these individuals for believing, not only in me, but in how the Lord can move through this position, ministry, and organization. God is truly a miracle worker for bringing them into my life!
With the start of a new year, I am looking for new sponsors to join to help me reach my monthly budget goal of $1,325. Like any income, this supports my office, home, and personal needs that arise as I work from home in Wilmington and my office at 828 Church.

That number may sound like unattainable at first glance, but let’s look at this is individual breakdown of what we would need to reach this financial goal:
1 person at $250 🎉
2 people at $100
3 people at $75
4 people at $50 🎉
5 people at $30 🎉
6 people at $25 🎉
10 people at $15 🎉
That is just 31 people to make this happen! In fact where you see an emoji (🎉) means that someone incredible, (or even a few amazing people), has already committed to this level! Could you also be one of them?!
