So…What Are You Doing…?
As you may know, I have a huge heart for the mission work I get to be a part of through 828 Church and in Zambia. Since 2016, I have been to Southern Africa multiple times, and every trip, I leave a little bit more of my heart behind. It is because of this that I am SO excited to announce, that since February 2021, I have been a member of The Zambia Project team!
Now, before you get too nervous, we will not be moving to Zambia! (Yet.. God has done crazier things, right?!) Instead, I will be assisting their efforts from here in America through…

My role with The Zambia Project continues to expand, and I am thrilled to be able to do more with this awesome organization. In July and August, I trained to take over some of the financial bookkeeping duties, so I can confidently say that I am living proof that the Lord has a sense of humor. (Throw back to having to take accounting again in college, because it didn't go well the first time...)
If you are one of our generous donors towards the Village of Hope, Save a Life Center, Water Wells, Medical needs, and MORE, first of all I thank you! Second, when you receive a thank you letter for your donation… That’s ME! I am now handling the Quickbooks database for both American, South Africa, and International donors. My extra dose of administrative passion is being put to great use, and I am loving the opportunity to get to work more closely with the team in Zambia!

From tax documents to moving banks, from thank you letters and gifts to selling calendars, it has been an incredible journey so far being a part of the The Zambia Project’s US administration. As I stated before, my passion and gifting for all things administration (especially Excel spreadsheets), is being put to great use for a great cause! With this administrative work, we are able to give the organization and missionaries a bridge between their operations and amazing resources here in the US! Just because we are on the other side of the world, does not mean we cannot have a HUGE impact in Western Zambia! What an honor!

Hope Art has to be one of my very favorite things about my role! (Who doesn’t love beautiful, guilt-free shopping?) Each Hope Art item is handmade by African women, and 100% of profits are invested in caring for vulnerable children. Just four bracelets can feed a child for a MONTH! How incredible!
828 Church has graciously allowed us to keep inventory on site, and are preparing to help us create a permanent shop in their lobby. So awesome! Our hope is to become the “Hope Art Hub” for America, and are continuing to expand our inventory and connections to achieve this goal.
We are also working to create a Hope Art website specifically for the States, but in the meantime, you can check out hopeartafrica.com. If you are interested or know someone who might be interested in selling Hope Art at your church, business, etc., please contact me here!
In case I haven't had the chance to share with you before, the heart and vision of The Zambia Project is to establish a life-giving church within walking distance of every person in the Western Province, and to see all villages impacted by the Gospel and uplifted through a strong Christian Community. I have seen with my own eyes the incredible impact that this has on communities, and I can tell you that there is a tangible and beautiful change in people when they believe that there is a God who loves them so deeply, and who is always working for their good! This is the amazing power of the Gospel!
Hear from the founders of The Zambia Project about why this non-profit is so important, and how it has changed an entire region!
I am so excited about this opportunity, but I will need some help to make this dream a reality! As The Zambia Project is an entirely self-funded volunteer, my role in this organization must be entirely funded by donations from incredible partners who believe in their mission and vision, as well as in me!
My goal is to raise $1,325 for my monthly budget.

I can honestly say that I have never felt more called to a position or an organization like I have been to The Zambia Project, and I would love to invite you to join me on this journey through monthly support and prayers. I have prayed for the provision needed, and I just ask that you be faithful to what God calls you to do!
The slogan and the belief of The Zambia Project is that we exist "So Others May Live." I invite you to believe this with me, and together, we can uplift countless individuals and their communities in the name of Jesus!
Thank you so much for your consideration in this life-changing opportunity!

YES, PLEASE! Whether you can support financially or not, the power of prayer can change everything, and may be even more important than the funding! Please pray for The Zambia Project, the people they impact, the missionaries, and that God will continue to move in miraculous ways through Western Zambia!
